Sugar Barn is located only an hour south of Orlando, 30 minutes from Winter Haven and halfway between Tampa and Orlando airports. Our address is 9505 Camp Mack Road, Lake Wales, FL 33898.
After you have toured Sugar Barn and selected your date, we will send you a personal event proposal and contract to sign. We then require your deposit within 5 days, which is typically 10% of your package price.
Yes, we can split your package price across 10 payments, with the final installment due 30 days prior to your Wedding.
To keep our standards high, Sugar Barn always supplies the Catering, Bar Service and Wedding Coordinator for all our events. However, we do offer a ‘Partly Inclusive’ Package which gives you the option to use outside vendors for services such as Photography, DJ, Flowers etc. All external vendors just need to have full insurance to work at the venue.
The services that we do not include in our packages but can make recommendations for are as follows; Wedding Officiant, Hair & Makeup, Cake, Videographer, Live Musicians, Event Insurance.
Officially our maximum capacity is 299, however no-one wants to be squashed in! So we like to keep our limit at 250 guests for comfortable seating.
Yes, you are welcome to have your furry friend as part of your wedding day! They are permitted in the outside ceremony area but we do ask that they are kept under supervision and must leave after the ceremony. No pets are allowed inside the venue buildings.
Yes, we require a “Day of Event” permit/insurance policy that you purchase for about $125. We can refer you to the 3rd party insurance company.
Yes, we require a $1,000 security deposit to be paid 15 days prior to your Wedding. This will be refunded to you within 2 weeks of your event, provided no damage has been recorded.
No, all break-down and clean-up is included in your venue rental. We just ask that you take away your personal belongings and any decor items that you are wanting to keep.
We offer access to exclusive private cottages just 1 mile away from the Sugar Barn on Lake Rosalie. One of these cottages sleeps up to 12 people and is the perfect place for the Bride and her Bridesmaids to start getting ready the morning of the wedding! There are riverside cabins, lodge-type rooms and RV sites just a 7-minute drive from the venue. We also have partnerships with nearby hotels and resorts in the area that will block rooms for you at discounted rates.
Yes, we have partnerships with several companies that offer various options of transportation, such as 57-seater buses and ‘Uber style’ private drivers. Transporting guests from out of the area to Sugar Barn, and then back to hotels at the end of the night is easily arranged. Even a helicopter departure from our front lawn is an option!
Yes we will coordinate a time with you for a ceremony rehearsal, either the day prior if we do not have a wedding that day or it is now becoming popular to do it the morning of the wedding whilst the Bride is getting ready.
Yes we offer multiple venue options for a rehearsal dinner where we can provide the catering for you. Please inquire directly for details.
I had my wedding at the Sugar Band November 8th, and it was everything my fiance & i could have dreamed of! The guest raved about the amazing food! Everything went so smoothly and Bill was amazing with accommodating anything we needed and made sure everything ran smoothly! Truly the best night ever !!

We had our wedding here 03/06/25 and everything was PERFECT! Staff is extremely friendly and easy to work with. We did the elopement package and so happy we chose this venue. Photographer that was included in the package exceeded our expectations. The owners Bill and Julia did such a beautiful job with the venue and are truly very sweet people. Would HIGHLY recommend this venue to everyone! A plus was the dinner they prepared was absolutely DELICIOUS. And the guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the venue was set up.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience or to feel so well taken care, down to the last detail. The organization, attention to detail, and professionalism was outstanding! I held my wedding here in December 2024 and it was the best decision ever! Our guests described our wedding day as a fairytale and we couldn't agree more. The outdoor ceremony was a dream. We were lucky to have perfect and chilly weather that day and having it outside we were surrounded by the beautiful sounds of nature and the sun coming through the trees all made it a perfect ceremony. The Barn was decorated so beautifully and elegantly. The staff made my vision come to life and even better than I had imagined. The food at this venue is incomparable to any other venue I've been to. All our guests were pleasantly surprised and loved the variety of food we had. I was worried at how the food would come out on such a large scale, but I can confidently say that it tasted the same as it had on the day we came for our tasting. It was so delicious!! Bill, Julia, and the Sugar Barn staff are just divine they made the day even more perfect. Everything was done on schedule and in a timely matter. Their attention to detail and professionalism is unmatched. I wish I could relive this day over and over!!
